This site was started by Dr. MJ Coyman in an effort to help Senior Citizens make sense of all the health issues that become so common as we age.

The goal of this site is to give the reader more control over their own health and health care decisions.

There are many options available to Seniors in terms of how to handle these health issues.

  • Do we turn to drugs and surgery as a first choice?
  • Are there natural ways to handle this condition?

  • Are there lifestyle choices that need to be changed for better health in the future?

This site will review products, information, lifestyle and wellness options, as well as healthy aging concepts.

All of this will be presented so that the reader can make informed decisions about current health issues and healthy lifestyle choices.

About Dr. MJ Coyman

Dr. Coyman graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College in 1991. She has Post Graduate training in Physiotherapeutics, Treatment of Failed Back Surgery and Spinal Acceleration/Deceleration Injuries.

Dr. Coyman maintained a private practice in Beaufort, SC until 2012. In her busy practice, Dr. Coyman commonly saw patients with headache, migraine, neck pain, low back pain, leg pain, other spinal pain, allergies, whiplash injuries, scoliosis, muscle pain, arthritis, as well as many other conditions.

As a Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Coymans’ primary focus was eliminating Spinal Subluxations in order to aide the body in healing itself. Spinal Subluxations are misalignments of the spinal bones, called vertebrae, that cause interference with the proper functioning of the nervous system.

Educating her patients in healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention was always a passion of Dr. Coyman. This kept her busy staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques that she shared with her patients then and will share with the reader on this site.

Dr. Coyman believes that the best approach to health and wellness is disease prevention in the first place. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle with emphasis on exercise, proper sleep, a well balanced diet, adequate hydration and a positive mental attitude are necessary for staying healthy and preventing disease.

It is the goal of Dr. Coyman to empower the reader to live a healthier lifestyle in order to prevent disease and to take control of one’s health care with a natural approach to wellness.
